True colors...

As the summer moves on, most of the flowers around our home have faded - even the bee balm blooms are almost at the end of their cycle - and I've come to miss the heady scent of my lilac bushes.

Still, the waning season has brought the growth of our corn and the silken tops of their fruit add waves of gold in an otherwise unbroken sea of green, and the tomatoes in my new vegetable garden are beginning to blush...
