Moving daze...

It's been a hectic month! Soon after our wedding and relaxing honeymoon, we finally found renters for Kurt's house...unfortunately, they wanted to move in by the end of May, something he and I hadn't planned for.

So we spent the past 2 weeks repainting every single downstair room in his house, tore up old carpeting and laid ceramic tile in his kitchen, power-washed the exterior, made dozens of minor repairs inside and out, packed up all of his and the kids' belongings, moved their things to Riverstone, cleaned his house, and did last-minute landscaping! Fortunately, we had the help of his mom and step-dad, and several dear friends.

He and the kids are now settling in and there's only this week left to go before summer vacation starts for them. We can finally breathe again!

...that is, at least for a little while until we tackle our next obstacle: dealing with encroachment on our land by 2 neighboring land owners...
